Since we do not have the same armor slots as UO we had to make adjustments. Materials and Displayed AR are added from these parts:
LoU Head = UO Head + Neck
LoU Chest = UO Chest + Hands
LoU Legs = UO Legs + Arms
The Real AR represents the armor rating number used in the damage reduction calculations when that equipment slot gets a hit.
The Displayed AR serves only as an indication and will be the armor rating that will add up for the Armor value in the character's paperdoll. It is a fair approximation based on the chance for that specific part to absorb a hit. You can see the combat page for more information.
Note that the AR used for calculations will get lower as the durability gets lower. This will not affect the displayed Armor rating in the paperdoll.
An exceptional craft will have a bonus of 12 AR and 10 to 20 Durability while a below average one will have -12 AR and -10 to -20 Durability.
Note that anything dropped and not crafted will roll with 10 less Durability.
