Inscribed in a steady hand and imbued with the power of reagents, a scroll can mean the difference between life and death in a perilous situation.
General[edit | edit source]
Inscription is the skill used to scribe Spells and blank Spell Books, as well as a variety of specialty weapons, such as (Spellsword, Scribes Grimoire, Ritual Dagger, Staff of Dominance), which have Spell Channeling, an attribute which allows the caster to cast spells without unequipping their weapon. These require special materials to craft and can be seen in the inscription menu. To use Inscription, visit a scribe's table in a town's Mage Shop or have one crafted by a local carpenter. Inscription can also be used by scribe's pens made by local tinkers. These pens have charges that eventually run out and must be replaced by a new pen so be sure to visit your local craftsmen and stock up on tools!
Drag each scroll into an empty Spellbook in your backpack to fill your spellbooks for magery use! One one scroll is needed in your spellbook for continued use. Crafting scrolls requires reagents purchased at your town's magery shop. The reagents required to create the scroll can then be seen on the spell page in your spellbook.
Craftables[edit | edit source]
Notes[edit | edit source]
Inscription also provides a damage bonus to spells. The added Spell Damage Bonus is calculated via the following formula:
Spell Damage Bonus = (Inscription / 10)
At GrandMaster level (100.0 Inscription skill), a player will receive a 10% Spell Damage Bonus.
